Hikari, meaning light, awakens skin into mochi-hada (the Japanese ideal of soft, plump, bouncy skin), visibly renewed and radiant.

A daily plumping and renewal cream. Peptides help support skin's firmness and bounce, glycolic acid gently encourages renewal for a brighter look, and wagyu-tallow, shea and avocado work together to nourish and support the skin barrier.

FAQs
Start with when you'd use it, not what you want it to fix. Yoru is the night cream, made to work while your skin does its own repair. Kinu is for hands. If you want the ritual rather than a single jar, Futatsu and Mittsu pair two or three products in a box made to be given — or kept.
If you only buy one thing, buy the one that fits the part of your day you're most likely to keep.
Because of what it's made of. Your skin produces oleic, palmitic and stearic acid every day; so does tallow, and in a balance far closer to your own than any plant oil manages. Skin doesn't have to translate it into something it recognises.
Ours comes from one farm, traceable start to finish, raised to Japanese welfare standards. No animal is raised for Koyu — the tallow is a by-product of a food system that already exists.
Koyu is formulated for most skin types, including dry, mature and combination. It melts at skin temperature and absorbs rather than sitting on the surface.
Two honest exceptions. Nothing in the range is vegan — tallow is animal-derived, and no amount of good sourcing changes that. And if you're actively treating a skin condition, check the full ingredients with whoever is treating you before you start.
