We don’t ask you to take our word for it.

Every product traces back to a single origin, a traceable source and a process we can stand behind, start to finish. Commodity tallow is blended from countless sources nobody can name. Ours has an address.

What could be overlooked, we choose to honour.

Koyu exists because of a belief in respect, not waste. Wagyu is raised with meticulous attention to diet, environment and stress — and the tallow is a by-product of that care. For most of the industry it is an afterthought. An animal raised with that much attention deserves better than a footnote.

Nothing about Wagyu is quick. The care that goes into the animal is the same care we ask of the ingredient, and the reason there is a product here at all.

Koyu doesn’t rely on noise. It relies on a genuinely rare, genuinely effective ingredient — and on an object worth keeping. Weighted, foil-stamped and marbled in gold drawn from Wagyu marbling itself. The jars are printed onto the material, so the design never fades or peels.
